Gary Anderson showed glimpses of his form before his injury which has blighted his progress this year as he smashed Corey Cadby in the opening session of action at the Brisbane Darts Masters.
Anderson averaged 101 and hit 6/7 on the doubles as he saw off Cadby in a
6-1 win and he spoke afterwards mainly about the aforementioned injury. He admitted that his arm and back feels good and that he's been practising well.
He added that his first leg was poor due to being in the practice room just beforehand but that he managed to find it in the end as he begun his campaign in Brisbane with a bang.
“The back feels good, the arm feels good and I’m practising really well.
“The first leg was poor from me which was strange because I was hitting 180’s for fun in the practice room, but I managed to find the form in the end,” concluded Anderson.
