Michael van Gerwen made a statement on the opening day of action at the Brisbane Darts Masters smashing Ben Robb in a whitewash win after some poor form as of late especially on the World Series.
Van Gerwen spoke afterwards and admitted that while he made a few mistakes; he can't be too hard on himself due to the fact he won
6-0. He added that he played with confidence which is a good sign for the World Number One and now he is looking forward to facing off against Daryl Gurney.
“I made a few mistakes but to be fair I can’t really complain because I won 6-0 and that’s all you can do.
“I played with confidence and that is good so now I have to get ready for tomorrow against Daryl,” offered the 30-year-old after his whitewash win.
