Gary Anderson is through to the Quarter-Finals at the 2020 Masters after edging past Ian White on Saturday.
Anderson who missed the tournament last year due to injury was pleased with his victory especially due to who he was facing.
He also spoke about preparation and is confident heading into the final day in Milton Keynes.
"Ian's a good player and he kept coming back when I got in front, but I won and it's a good start,” said Anderson.
"I've got a long way to go yet but I've had a month or so since the World Championship and I've practiced well, so I'll give it a go tomorrow."
