Peter Wright remains on course for a first final victory at the World Grand Prix. 'Snakebite' defeated Ryan Searle 3-1 in the second round.
Wright had to come back from a 1-0 deficit. "It was always going to be a battle against Ryan. You know, he's a fantastic dart player," Wright said in his post-match interview with Tungsten Tales. "I'm pleased obviously with the win, but performance no."
"There was some nice ton plus finishes and yeah, that's coming back so if I can get the rest to come back too, that would be nice," 'Snakebite' continues.
Wright, usually though a crowd favourite, was even whistled at by some of the crowd for a while. "I don't care, I got them on my side in the end, that's all that counts," he explains. "As long as the fans are enjoying themselves, I don't care. I'm out there to try and win and that's that."
