Nathan Aspinall survived a late Rob Cross fightback but added another two points to his tally to continue his Premier League brilliance.
Aspinall sits third level with Michael van Gerwen in second and behind by leg difference and the confidence has returned for the Stockport ace.
"I've had my problems the last six to eight months, darts wise. It wasn't a big problem but I've kind of overcome that, confidence wise," said Aspinall to Dutch broadcaster, RTL7.
"The last two nights, I haven't felt great on that stage. I don't know why, I felt like I did in the previous session but it was another good win."
"It wasn't the best performance but it was a win and a big two points. I think speaking to friends and family when I had my really good spell two years ago, every game I played whoever I was playing no-one thought I was going to lose.
"I felt like that too and at this moment in time when I walk on that stage, I don't think I'm ever going to lose. Whether I perform under-par or over-par, I don't think anyone will beat me."
