Aspinall stuns Van Gerwen as Semi-Final line-up confirmed at Players Championship 7

The Semi-Final line-up is confirmed at Players Championship 7 with the top result being Nathan Aspinall stunning Michael Van Gerwen.
Aspinall lost out to the World Number One last weekend at the 2020 UK Open and be avenged that with a 6-1 win. Van Gerwen was below par averaging 87 compared to 93 from The Asp.
He will take on Danny Noppert who averaged 101 in a 6-2 win over Krzysztof Ratajski. James Wade is into the other semi-final after defeating Ian White in a 6-5 victory as he defied a 107 average from his opponent and hit a 103 average himself. He will take on Brendan Dolan who edged past Derk Telnekes who was having a brilliant day up until this point.
