Awesome Gary Anderson through in last leg decider; Danny Noppert and Joe Cullen join him in Belgian Darts Open last 16

Gary Anderson has advanced to the last sixteen at the Belgian Darts Open after a thriller. In the second round of the Euro Tour tournament in Wieze, the Scot won 6-5 against Andreas Harrysson.

Elsewhere, Danny Noppert survived a scare against Chris Dobey missed as many as six chances to decide the match. The Englishman was leading 5-3 and got match darts in the ninth and tenth leg, but could not take advantage of them. Noppert came back to 5-5 and pulled the win his way with a 14-darter.

Joe Cullen finished the session by eliminating Dirk van Duijvenbode, 6-3. The Englishman again played a good match with an average of 104.40 and a finishing percentage of 67 percent.
