Ryan Searle edges Richard Veenstra in last leg decider after Jonny Clayton and Damon Heta fly through at Belgian Darts Open

Ryan Searle, Jonny Clayton and Damon Heta have all reached the third round at the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze on Saturday afternoon.

Clayton took a hard foight win over Berry Van Peer. 'Bionic' managed to lead 2-0, but was then broken twice. With the Welshman eventually winning through 6-4, securing victory with a fine 106 finish.

Searle was also given a challenge by Richard Veenstra in an excellent match, taking the win in a last leg decider. After a total of six breaks the score was 5-5 after ten legs. Searle started the last leg and finished the job with a 15-darter.

Damon Heta also managed to reach the last 16 at the Belgian Darts Open. An average of 88 was enough for the Australian dart player to win 6-1 against Brendan Dolan.
