The line-up for the first event of the European Tour season in the form of the Belgian Darts Championship is close to being confirmed with the Tour Card Holders Qualifier being completed in Wigan.
Among the main names to secure their place in Hasselt include Steve Beaton who last season went on a run which lasted until he was seeded in
European Tour Qualification and he secured his spot with a 6-3 win over Christian Bunse.
Andy Hamilton who has just returned to the tour will also make a welcome return to the European Tour after defeating the impressive Jose de Sousa 6-4.
Some of the other main names such as Stephen Bunting and Luke Humphries also made it through successfully.
There will be debuts for the likes of Damon Heta and Martijn Kleermaker; with Mervyn King and Luke Woodhouse also among those who will make the trip to Belgium.
