Michael van Gerwen claimed a crushing defeat over Daryl Gurney to continue his 100 percent record so far in the Premier League.
Van Gerwen won 7-1 and now tops the Premier League table and admitted that it was important to keep his foot on the gas because of how Gurney can play.
'Mighty Mike' also like others praised the Nottingham crowd and said that it makes him want to perform.
"I didn't make any mistakes tonight, and I had to because Daryl is a very consistent player," said Van Gerwen.
"It's good but I know I can do better than this and I know there is more in the tank.
"I think the crowd were superb tonight for all the players, we all want to perform for them.
"I'm back where I belong and that's at the top of the table."
