Steve Beaton is through to the third round at the 2020 PDC World Championship as 'The Bronzed Adonis' put on a typical silky smooth performance of finishing to defeat Kyle Anderson.

Highlights of 170 and 133 as well as a nine-darter attempt saw Beaton produce one of his best TV performances in a while against the very game Anderson who nearly sent it all the way.
Beaton was brilliant to start proceedings as he took a 2-0 lead in the early going and despite Anderson pinning a 142 checkout, it was 'The Bronzed Adonis' that claimed it 3-1 with him taking out 107 in silky smooth style to seal it.
He started the next set in similar vein as he hit a 170 checkout to go 2-1 behind in the second set. Another ton plus in the form of a 133 saw him level it up and force a decider but despite that, Anderson took the set as the exhibition of big finishing continued with a 116 checkout.
Beaton switched to high scoring smashing in back-to-back 180s to seal a 1-0 lead and he went back to finishing from there pinning two double eights akin to an exhibition to double his lead and he won the set from consecutive legs from there as he looked to be really motoring.
This showed as he claimed the victory despite Anderson having chances to force a decider as his exhibition of rolling back the years continued.
