Beau Greaves continues victory streak and seals third consecutive tournament win at PDC Women's Series

There was no beating Beau Greaves again this weekend at the second tournament weekend of the PDC Women's Series. After surprisingly losing her opening match at the first tournament on Saturday, she managed to win all three other tournaments.

Sunday night followed her third consecutive tournament victory at Women's Series 8. After easy wins over Lauryn Salter (4-0) and Sally Whiting (4-0), Greaves escaped elimination against Katie Sheldon (4-3).

In the last eight, Lisa Ashton also offered excellent resistance, but despite an average of 97, the win went to Greaves 5-3. The 21-year-old Englishwoman then also won over Lorraine Winstanley (5-0) and Robyn Byrne (5-1) to take the title.

If there are at least 128 players competing, prizes for the PDC Women's Series will be awarded from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case, they do collect one hundred pounds.

This amount eventually keeps rising. A final place is already guaranteed to earn £1,000. The winner of the tournament will receive £2,000 in prize money. The number one on the Women's Series Order of Merit gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts at the end of the year and the top two receive a starting ticket to the Darts World Cup.
