Beau Greaves gains measure of revenge, defeats Noa-Lynn van Leuven to seal PDC Women's Series Event 16

Beau Greaves gained some semblance of revenge for her prior defeat to Noa-Lynn van Leuven in the final of Event 15 by ending the weekend at the PDC Women's Series with the final title.

Greaves defeated Van Leuven in a repeat of their final earlier in the day which saw the Dutchwoman lead throughout before Greaves forced a decider. But a 5-3 win was a bit more comfortable this time around.

Albeit both are still very much the class of the field and have proved that this weekend once more. After yesterday which saw De Graaf break the chain, Greaves has ended the weekend with two titles and a final. Not bad going.

In the latter stages, she defeated emerging English talent Paige Pauling 5-2, Kim Holden 5-3 who vanquished Fallon Sherrock before seeing off Van Leuven. Lorraine Winstanley also got to the semi-finals losing to the Dutchwoman while Gemma Hayter and Lisa Ashton also continued their good form.

If at least 128 players participate, the PDC Women's Series participants will be awarded prizes from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case they do collect one hundred pounds.

This amount eventually keeps increasing. A final place already earns 1,000 pounds anyway. The winner of the tournament receives 2,000 pounds in prize money. The number one of the final ranking gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship, while the number two also gets to compete at Alexandra Palace.
