Beau Greaves takes title at the expense of Fallon Sherrock at PDC Women's Series 17

Beau Greaves won the seventeenth tournament of the PDC Women's Series on Saturday 'Beau 'n' Arrow' is once again the dominant force at the Women's Series. After failing to win the first five Women's Series tournaments of the season, she has won six of the last 12 Women's Series.
It became a final between the two best English players of the moment. Greaves defeated Laura van den Berg (4-1), Desiree Geel (4-0), Eve Watson (4-1), Kirsi Viinikainen (5-4) and Aileen de Graaf (5-1), while Sherrock disposed of Ingibjorg Magnusdottir (4-0), Trina Gulliver (4-2), Mikuru Suzuki (4-3), Lorraine Hyde (5-2) and Noa-Lynn van Leuven (5-4).
Greaves took a 2-0 lead in the final, but Sherrock still managed to repair the deficit. In the fifth leg, however, Sherrock missed a full hand of dimes to take over the lead, after which Greaves regained the lead with a 19-darter. The 20-year-old Englishwoman then decided the match with an 18-darter and a 21-darter.
How much prize money is up for grabs at the PDC Women's Series?
If at least 128 players participate, the PDC Women's Series participants will be awarded prizes from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case they do collect one hundred pounds.
This amount eventually keeps increasing. A final place already earns 1,000 pounds anyway. The winner of the tournament receives 2,000 pounds in prize money. The number one of the final ranking gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts and the Darts World Cup, while the number two also gets to compete at Alexandra Palace.
