Belgium breeze past Poland into World Cup of Darts Quarter-Finals

Belgium will face Australia in the Quarter-Finals of the 2022 World Cup of Darts tomorrow after breezing past the Poland duo of Krzysztof Ratajski and Sebastian Bialecki.

Dimitri van den Bergh led from the front to begin the tie breezing past Ratajski in a 4-1 win. 'The Dreammaker' excelled in his captains' role as he produced a 92 average and 40% on his doubles against an out of sorts 'Polish Eagle' who hit just 1/5 of his doubles to put his country on the back foot.

While Kim Huybrechts just had to follow against Sebastian Bialecki and did so with his doubling far superior to the Polish rising star in the early going which brought him through.

He went 2-0 up before going one away after Bialecki didn't take the opportunity at 96 and he was 3-1 up.

Huybrechts missed a match dart on 105 and Bialecki extended the tie on double four to make it 3-2 but the former had the throw and he finally sealed the deal to wild celebration from the Hurricane.
