Stefan Bellmont has claimed the second PDC Challenge Tour of the day and the seventh of the season with victory in a decider over Karel Sedlacek in Niedernhausen.
It is a maiden title for the Swiss ace who saw off 'Evil Charlie' with victories over Steffen Siepmann, Toni Alcinas and Nathan Girvan en route. This adds to Scott Williams continued dominance with a title earlier today.
Players can earn reserve spots for the Pro Tour 2022 and Tour Cards for 2023 and 2024 on the Challenge Tour. The highest ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.
The top two on the Challenge Tour ranking at the end of the season are offered a PDC Tour Card for the following two seasons. In addition, they are also allowed to participate in the PDC World Darts Championship.
