Bevins on going from Countdown champion to PDC referee: "I've not got 30 seconds in darts, I've literally got one or two seconds"

Kirk Bevins as well as being a PDC referee is known as being a former champion on Countdown and on the latest Not So Late Night Darts Show on PDC Europe, he discussed it as well as the difference between counting on the show and on the oche.

"In 2009, that was 11 episodes to win that trophy but then I won more afterwards, specials and things. It started in 1982, it was the first program on Channel 4," said Bevins.

"It's difficult, you've only got 30 seconds and the numbers are difficult because there's so many ways of looking to go about it so I don't mind about not getting the numbers game. It's just when I make mistakes in darts."

"I've not got 30 seconds in darts, I've literally got 1 or 2 seconds to add stuff up."
