Bizarre: Mickey Mansell prevails in almost all statistics, yet loses match at World Darts Championship

Mickey Mansell lost to Brendan Dolan at the World Darts Championship on Friday afternoon after a thrilling match. The duel between the two darters from Northern Ireland was only decided in Dolan's favor after a sudden-death leg.

Although Dolan won the match 3-2 in sets, it was Mansell who had won the most legs. Indeed, in legs, the score was 15-13 in Mansell's favor. But that was not the only statistic in which 'Clonoe Cyclone' outperformed his opponent.

Indeed, Mansell also had a higher average, more 180 scores, a higher highest finish and a better finishing percentage than his compatriot. However, the most important statistic was for Dolan.
