Another year, another early exit for Raymond van Barneveld at the UK Open and once again, it was a Scot who saw the doyen of Dutch darts fall early.
William Borland who produced one of the main memories of the PDC World Darts Championship fell over the line in a deciding leg victory against the the former two time winner.
It was an incredible end to the game with Van Barneveld squandering eight match darts in the decider with Borland also missing multiple chances to end it early himself.
This after a quality game between the pair which saw Van Barneveld hit a 121 checkout to go 4-2 up. But a turning point came when Borland produced an incredible 156 checkout and the match was sent the distance from there.
It will be the Scot who takes his spot in the line-up for tonight's draw.
Joining him is Krzysztof Kciuk who edged past Ross Smith on Stage Two with Adrian Lewis last up on the Main Stage and Martin Schindler/Jeff Smith and Kim Huybrechts/Luc Peters ending proceedings on Stage Two.
Follow all the results on our Tournament Centre which you can find below with all of the Outer Boards, the draw takes place at the conclusion of the session.
