The second day of action is complete at 2020 PDC UK Q-School with Bradley Brooks and Kai Fan Leung the winners today in Wigan.
Brooks defeated Damon Heta in a 5-3 win as he regained his Tour Card at the first time of asking and to dispel the disappointment of the opening day for him. The 19-year old will now hope to kick on while 'The Heat' looks handily placed after a good second day.
Leung on the other hand was facing Lisa Ashton who could have become the first woman to come through
Q-School and win a Tour Card but he produced some magnificent darts like he has in the past few days to edge past The Lancashire Rose in a 5-4 victory. The Hong Kong ace will now join the PDC Tour for the first time.
Ashton went behind in the early stages but ended up pulling the match back with a brilliant 130 checkout to make it 3-3 and put the pressure back onto Leung.
Despite getting down to a finish first though on her throw, it was Leung who went one away on his own throw from gaining a Tour Card.
A timely 140 left Ashton 68 to break throw again and throw for the match herself in the next leg. Chances were given to Leung but he couldn't convert 110, as a result Ashton pinned double 10 to sent it all the way.
Leung was averaging 120 to start the next leg as he attempted to break throw and win. A 180 for him left 81 after nine and he left himself 32 with Ashton not able to take out 170 and he pinned 32 as a result for the win.
