March 2025 promises to be a spectacular month for darts fans. With a mix of the Premier League, Players Championships,
European Tour events and various other tournaments, there is plenty to look forward to.
But even for players without a PDC Tour Card, there are tournaments to look forward to this month. Here is an overview of the main PDC events in March 2025.
March 6: Premier League Darts - Week 5
The
Premier League Darts continues with Night Five from the southern English city of Brighton. The world's best darters battle for crucial points in an evening of top matches in the hunt for a spot in the playoffs. The battle for the top spot is starting to take shape.
On each night, players can earn for the rankings. The weekly winner accumulates five points, while the losing finalist takes home three points. Players stranded in the semifinals receive two points.
March 7-9: Belgian Darts Open (ET1).
The first European Tour of the year takes place in Belgium. The complete list of the world's top stars are set to be present at the
Belgian Darts Open in Wieze, where Luke Littler will try to defend his title. The Euro Tour tournaments guarantee a lot of darts spectacle and offer the chance for players to collect pounds for the rankings.
The Euro Tour circuit is a series of a total of 14 tournaments spread across countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Switzerland. The 32 best players get to compete in the European Championship in Dortmund at the end of the season.

March 8-9: Women's Series 5-8
The
Women's Series are also on the PDC
calendar during the month of March. On this circuit, the best female darters in the world compete against each other. With four tournaments spread over two days, the participants compete for qualification to bigger PDC tournaments such as the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Cup.
This season, the Women's Series circuit consists of a total of 24 tournaments. The top two players of the season get to compete in the World Darts Championship, while the number one also receives an invitation to the Grand Slam of Darts. Through the Women's Series, ladies can also qualify for the Women's World Matchplay, which also includes a World Championship spot and participation in the Grand Slam of Darts.
March 11-12: Players Championship 5-6
The next
Players Championship tournaments will take place in Leicester. These are major ranking tournaments where Tour Card holders compete for the top prize of 15,000 pounds, as well as valuable prize money in the qualifying races for the major tournaments.
The field of participants in a Players Championship tournament consists of 128 players. These are usually the 128 PDC Tour Card holders. If a Tour Card holder does not register or later withdraws, the highest ranked players on the
Challenge Tour Order of Merit are invited to fill the vacant spots.
Playing Players Championship tournaments is the only route for players to grant themselves entry to the Players Championship Finals. At the end of the season, the 64 best players get to compete in the final tournament in Minehead.
March 13: Premier League Darts - Week 6
The sixth round of play in Premier League Darts brings another night of excitement. Players must continue to perform to avoid falling behind in the race to the playoffs. Who can stand out on this night at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham?
March 14-16: Challenge Tour 6-10
The best players without a PDC Tour Card gather this weekend in Hildesheim where the second tournament weekend of the Challenge Tour will be played. Five tournaments in three days make for an intense weekend as players try to qualify for promotion to the Pro Tour.
The Challenge Tour consists of a total of 24 tournaments spread over five different weekends. For the two best players of the year, a PDC Tour Card is waiting for the next two seasons. In addition, two starting tickets for the World Darts Championship are also handed out and, in addition, the leader of the rankings may participate in the Grand Slam of Darts.
March 17-18: Players Championship 7-8
We remain in Germany for a while, as immediately after the Challenge Tour tournaments, two more Players Championship tournaments will be completed in Hildesheim. Again, two events in which a total of £125,000 in prize money will be divided among the participants.
March 20: Premier League Darts - Week 7
With Night Seven, the Premier League is nearing the end of the first half of the season. This time, the travelling darts roadshow is visiting Cardiff, where local hero Gerwyn Price in particular will be keen to show some good form.

March 21-23: European Darts Trophy (ET2)
The second European Tour event of the year will take place in Göttingen, Germany, where the battle for the
European Darts Trophy title will erupt. A field of 48 players is competing, including big names such as Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright.
March 27: Premier League Darts - Week 8
The eighth round of Premier League Darts play will be played in Newcastle, the place where Chris Dobey in particular will enjoy a lot of support from fans. 'Hollywood' hails from nearby Bedlington.
The playing schedule for this evening is not yet known, as the schedule for the eighth round of play is based on the Premier League Darts standings after seven weeks of play. The number one starts against the number eight, the number two against the number seven, and so on.
March 28-30: Development Tour 6-10
The
Development Tour is the breeding ground for young talent. This is where the stars of the future get the chance to make their names and make their way to the PDC top. The Mattioli Arena in Leicester is the setting for the next five tournaments of this circuit.
The Development Tour consists of a total of 24 tournaments spread over five different weekends. For the two best players of the year, a PDC Tour Card is waiting for the next two seasons. March 31 (& April 1): Players Championship 9-10
