Matt Campbell leads the PDC European Challenge Tour Order of Merit after the first six tournaments were completed this past weekend in Niedernhausen.
Campbell managed to win two of the six tournaments vindicating his decision to travel all the way from Canada to play in this set of tournaments. He sits on £4,550 ahead of Kenny Neyens who won the final event and left himself on £3,000.
This was followed by Rowby-John Rodriguez (£2,900) and Steven Noster (£2,800). The highest ranked players not to win tournaments followed with Lukas Wenig on £2,050 and Richard Veenstra on £1,650.
Due to travel restrictions still in place due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Challenge Tour has been split this year into a separate circuit for both British and European players.
The winners of both tours will be eligible to participate in the upcoming World Darts Championship and will receive a PDC Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
The highest-ranking players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots at the Players Championship tournaments.
