Entries released for PDC Super Series 5: Price, Van Gerwen and De Sousa lead line-up

The entries have been released ahead of PDC Super Series 5 which comprises Players Championship events 17-20 taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry with the race to the World Matchplay concluding.

Over 110 PDC Tour Card holders will compete over four days along with Associate Member qualifiers which come from the Q-School Order of Merit for likely the final time with the European Challenge Tour taking in its first events this past weeekend.

Chas Barstow, Kevin Doets, Sean Fisher, Matt Jackson, Kevin McDine, Jim McEwan, Luc Peters, Michael Rasztovits, Rowby-John and Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and Martin Thomas will take the places of the 11 Tour Card holders missing.

Jose Justicia will also take the spot of Scott Waites who will be missing until the final Players Championship of the week.

This means that those missing include Mensur Suljovic, Kai Fan Leung (due to positive Covid test), Wesley Harms, Darren Penhall, Cristo Reyes, Robert Marijanovic, Michael Unterbuchner, Steffen Siepmann, Daniel Larsson and Kirk Shepherd.

Big names will be involved though of course with the line-up being lead by the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Gary Anderson, Gerwyn Price, Jose de Sousa and Jonny Clayton.
