The semi-finals have been confirmed at Players Championship 25 with a superb line-up set in Barnsley between four of the most in-form players in darts right now.
First of all is Dave Chisnall who produced a 114.62 average in easing past Luke Humphries 6-2 to back up a 102.43 effort against Gary Anderson in the Last 16. At one point, he was averaging close to 120 but still finished on nearly 115.
He will face Gerwyn Price who edged past a resurgent Mervyn King who took out Peter Wright earlier. While in the other semi-final, it sees Josh Rock who has been touted by many as the breakout star of the year and with averages of nearly 113, there is a reason for that.
He produced a 112.66 mark as he saw off Mike de Decker 6-2 with 128 on the bull sealing it against the Belgian who himself averaged 113 in defeat. While Damon Heta will aim to go back-to-back after winning the Gibraltar Darts Trophy and faces Rock in a mouthwatering clash.
