Dave Chisnall is the first player through to the Quarter-Finals at the Grand Slam of Darts after easing past Ryan Harrington in a 10-3 win.
Chisnall averaged 102 en route to end the run of Harrington; who had a brilliant run up to now; but it is the St Helens ace who continues his excellent run of form in Wolverhampton.
He started brilliantly taking a break of throw to go 2-0 up in the early going with his first 180 of the match. It was cruise control as he hit a 104 checkout to make it 4-0 and go towards the finish; was there going to be any resistance from 'The Animal'?
Harrington got off the mark; with a sensational break of throw in the form of a 154 checkout. He missed double 12 for a 144 checkout and Chizzy returned to go 5-1 up.
Another break of throw went as Chisnall went into a 7-1 lead hitting a 106 average and 7/11 on the doubles. At the break, Chisnall went 7-3 up; as Harrington hit back-to-back legs.
Despite that, Chisnall went one away at 8-3 up and he surged to victory from there winning 10-3 in a dominant display.
