Chisnall follows in Van Gerwen's footsteps after nine-dart finish at Belgian Darts Open

Dave Chisnall added an extra touch to the first edition of the Belgian Darts Open last weekend by throwing a nine-dart finish. 'Chizzy' threw the perfect leg in his semifinal against Danny Noppert and then also won the tournament in Wieze.

It was the second nine-dart finish for Chisnall on the Euro Tour circuit. He previously threw one in 2019 at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy. That was also the last nine-darter thrown on the Euro Tour before last weekend.

After Michael van Gerwen, he is only the second player with more than one nine darter on the Euro Tour. Van Gerwen first threw one in 2018 at the European Darts Matchplay, and repeated the feat in 2019 at the European Darts Open.
