It was two games of contrast as Chisnall performed an epic great escape to see off Ryan Searle in the opening match of the evening. Recovering from 4-1 down, he survived five match darts in sealing the win.
Doing so in style, he hit a 161 checkout in the decider to see off 'Heavy Metal'. Next up will be Peter Wright tomorrow evening.
