Bunting survives comeback and dumps out Aspinall, Van Duijvenbode dispatches Ratajski as Masters continues

Stephen Bunting and Dirk van Duijvenbode are through to the second round at the 2023 Masters with Danny Noppert and Gerwyn Price awaiting on Saturday.

Bunting faced Nathan Aspinall who some expect to be in the Premier League next week but his season hasn't got off to the best start with a 6-5 defeat - albeit with the usual Asp resolve in the form of a comeback.

This was shown with Bunting seemingly on his way to spurning a 4-0 advantage but a superb last leg from 'The Bullet' as 'The Asp' faltered on the scoring part of his game saw him over the line with a 92 average and three 180's.

While Van Duijvenbode on the other hand will face Price in a repeat of their World Series Finals tie in Amsterdam. It was a 6-3 win for 'The Titan'.

The outer ring was where he shined against Krzysztof Ratajski hitting 60% and he will return on Saturday evening.
