"Chizzy, Clayton and Damon Heta all setting up TikTok accounts": Mickey Mansell appears to make dig at Premier League Darts line-up

Mickey Mansell was one of the main players to rip into the Premier League Darts line-up in particular how it was picked as certain players missed out on the elite eight that perhaps had a cause to be in there in the minds of some.
Mansell took to X the day before it was picked to share his own prediction. He did pick the line-up aside from the fact Nathan Aspinall was included. He tweeted a prediction the day before and put Damon Heta in the place of 'The Asp'.
He then made a dig saying: "Chizzy, Jonny and Damon Heta all setting up TikTok accounts today." Stephen Bunting in particular has spent the last year or so building up a cult online following.
He now has a TikTok, YouTube and has become a fans favourite due to his walk-on Titanium by Sia. But while Bunting was a fan favourite pick, others have not gone down as well. As ever with the Premier League line-up, it is contentious with Matt Porter himself saying that many of those picked are done so to whip arenas into a frenzy over meritocracy.
Mike de Decker is one player who felt the dismay of not being picked hitting out at the PDC for picking Aspinall solely for having Mr Brightside by The Killers as his walk-on and that neither him or Gerwyn Price had done anything in the months leading up to it.
De Decker was the only player to win a Sky Sports major ever and not be picked for the darting roadshow which left him aggrieved. Heta though on the otherhand took to social media and said he knew he wasn't going to get picked.
So it is very much differing opinions wherever you look including if you're Mickey Mansell it seems.

- Is this the start of an attempt to say that he (Littler) is the best ever as he has won most money. Perhaps adjust all prize money earned by allowing for inflation. If Littler gets close too (does not even have to overtake) both MVG’s and Taylor’s Major titles total then he is in the conversation. Indicates to me that the prize money is skewed to much towards the top players, meritocracy must rule but a fair distribution of the money is needed otherwise its only ever about a select few.Mysstree09-01-2025

- It is shocking and unbelievable that 2 Hotty who was always such a decent player, 2 time World Champion and won the Grand Slam when it meant something. He really should have joined the PDC earlier. He has just disappeared off the radar. Such a shame when one of your favourite players just dissappears. I guess he is concentrating on the carpentry. - One mistake is often followed by another, and the PDC have compounded their unimaginative PL picks with a doppelganger cast for the World Series. What an opportunity missed. Although he is charismatic and has personality unlike the boring and dull as dishwater Dobey. It is quite pathetic and desperate the way Bunting and Arsepinall pander to the crowd to dance to their walk on music, that has worked though. I would like to see more players involved on a weekly basis similar to the Modus Super Series. A knockout tournament with 16 winners from each week.
