Chris Dobey and Rob Cross will face off in the first semi-final of the 2025 Premier League Darts after opening their accounts in Belfast on Thursday night. Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting perhaps surprisingly were beaten.
Dobey opened the night winning 6-4 over Price with a 97.8 average and 60% on the doubles to complete the feat and move through.

The opening two legs were shared before Price hit a 180 to leave 14 but Dobey broke with a 64 checkout for 2-1. The breaks of throw continued as Price hit double 12 before Dobey hit 180 and double eight to regain the upper hand 3-2.
Price thumped in a 124 checkout on the bull to hold throw with Dobey waiting on double eight as he made it 4-3 in the race to six. Dobey hit double nine for a 14-darter to make it 4-4.
Another 14-darter for a 49 checkout saw Dobey go 5-4 up to go one away where he had the throw. Price missed 120 to break back and Dobey took aim at 72 and hit double 12 last dart to get off the mark.
While also managing to get through against the form book and those picked to win by many, Rob Cross prevailed over Stephen Bunting 6-4 averaging 97 with 54.5% on the doubles for 'Voltage'.
Bunting missed a dart to hold and Cross broke with a 43 checkout. But The Bullet was straight back with a 66 checkout to make it 1-1. Cross had a chance to break again but couldn't take it and Bunting tidied up 25 for 2-1. Cross went 3-2 up to break before holding throw to make it 4-2.
Bunting missed multiple darts to break back but Cross couldn't seal 128 and Bunting made it 4-3. But he was put on the brink by Cross holding to go one away. Bunting saved his skin though hitting 137 superbly. But Cross still had the throw for the win. He got over the line with a 72 checkout. As per the draw bracket they now face each other.
