Chris Dobey was in box office form during his opener at the
International Darts Open in Riesa with 'Hollywood' averaging 111.2 in seeing off Krzysztof Ratajski 6-4.
Dobey hit four 180's and also a 170 checkout to give 'The Polish Eagle' no chance sending out a statement after his recent ProTour win that he is very much a man on form. Danny Noppert has also qualified for the last sixteen at the International Darts Open at the expense of Dimitri van den Bergh. The Dutch-Belgian battle was decided 6-4 in favor of Noppert.
The darter from Joure was broken in the third leg, but then managed to break Van den Bergh right back. Until the ninth leg the legs went with the darts. This came to an end in the tenth leg. With an 11-darter on the perfect moment Noppert decided the match. Ryan Searle was too strong for Daryl Gurney, 6-5 also.
