Chris Dobey is into the final on Night One of the 2025 Premier League Darts after taking down Rob Cross in a 6-4 win for "Hollywood' who now faces Michael van Gerwen or Luke Humphries in Belfast.
Dobey hit a 170 checkout en route to seeing off Cross. After many questioned the inclusion of Dobey, he has shown how good he is tonight. He saw off Gerwyn Price last game and now has Cross added to his resume.
He famously during his debut year kept losing despite hitting massive averages but this time he is finding his winning form and could take the first weekly title of the year shortly.

Despite missing ten darts at doubles, Dobey surged to the front in the opening stanza against Cross going 3-1 up despite also hitting an average of just 85.
Cross got one back at 3-2 down with a last dart in hand double sixteen with Dobey there waiting to go 4-1 up. Dobey missed bull for 129 and Cross took aim at 77 pinning double 10 to make it 3-3 and break.
A 132 checkout on double six saw Cross make it 4-3. A 170 checkout on the bull from Dobey saw 'Hollywood' make it 4-4. Dobey made it 5-4 after Cross could only set up 132 to leave double 14.
Dobey as a result was throwing for the win from there. He got over the line on double eight and is into the Night One final.
