Luke Humphries is through to a semi-final showdown with Michael van Gerwen after seeing off Nathan Aspinall in the last Quarter-Final of Night One of the Premier League Darts in Belfast.

Humphries coasted through 6-2 in the end, he went 4-1 up and Aspinall made it tricky in the end but the newly crowned Winmau World Master moved through with a 105.2 average and 6/10 on the doubles. Next up is MVG who saw off Luke Littler earlier in the evening.

Aspinall was given multiple chances to hold after Humphries fluffed his lines but 'Cool Hand Luke' eventually broke. His power scoring saw him way ahead on Aspinall's throw.

He left 93 pinning double 18. He hit a terrific 139 with Aspinall ready to hold. Humphries continued to dazzle pinning 180 to begin his throw as he looked to take a 4-0 lead.

A lesson in combination finishing saw Humphries take out 85 on double 14 for 4-0. Aspinall finally got off the mark with a 78 checkout but Humphries still averaging 109 was very much still on course for victory.

Aspinall hit 93 to make it 4-2 suddenly. A 92 checkout saw Humphires arrest that return to the tie as he went one away and was throwing for the win. A 75 checkout sealed the win for Humphries.
