Not for the first time in this
Premier League Darts, there were complaints on Thursday evening about wind gusts on stage during the matches.
This time it was
Jonny Clayton who was unhappy with the conditions. 'The Ferret' lost 6-2 to
Gerwyn Price in the quarter-finals, as Price averaged over 110 in this Welsh clash.
''I'm not usually one to compain, but how are we supposed to play with a gale force wind going across the stage'', Clayton wrote in a deleted tweet.
The Welshman then points out the big stakes involved. ''We're playing for 250k, not a coconut'', he added, before congratulating his fellow Welsh countryman. ''Well done Gezzy, you are class mate.''
