Gerwyn Price has reached the semi-finals of a Premier League Darts night for a seventh week in a row with his play-off spot all but secure for The O2 in a few weeks time.
After Michael van Gerwen was the front runner in the opening weeks, Price has started to produce some of his best form again and this was evidenced against Jonny Clayton 6-2 with a 110 average and four 180's to reach the semi-finals.
Clayton himself coming off his first European Tour win in five years and also been in superb Premier League form himself but won't take the title tonight in Leeds.
Taking one of only two legs in the tie, Clayton started with a 125 checkout for 1-0.
But Price raced ahead from there with back-to-back legs at 2-1 followed by three more legs on the spin including back-to-back 11-darters for 5-1.
He missed one match dart though which allowed Clayton back for another leg at 5-2 but this revival was short lived as another 11-darter from Price sealed it.
Next up is Nathan Aspinall with 'The Asp' backing up his victory in Rotterdam with more vital points in his play-off hunt.
Aspinall saw off Dimitri van den Bergh for a fourth consecutive win over the Belgian hitting four 180's and a 98 average in a 6-4 victory.
The other semi-final confirmed earlier on was Michael Smith v Peter Wright, with Michael van Gerwen dumped out after another under par display.
