Clayton on returning to form at Players Championship Finals: "My miscounting, that's back as well"

Two wins and progression through to the final day for Jonny Clayton at the Players Championship Finals and the confidence was back for 'The Ferret' who is looking to seal a first major title of the year after a poor 2022 at times.

"The second one was a bit easier than the first one but I take them all so happy I'm in the final day," he said to Online Darts.

"My miscounting that's back as well, to be fair I did the job so brilliant. Hopefully I'm back, hopefully it's going to be my weekend. Crossed fingers is all I'll say."

Speaking also on all the seeds falling, he said it's not something he thinks about and as long as he is still involved it is the main thing.

"You just concentrate on your job, you do your job and get through the rounds. It's all I'm thinking about."
