Rob Cross and
Luke Humphries have qualified for the quarterfinals of the
World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam. Sunday afternoon, they will meet in the last eight of the tournament at the AFAS Live.
Cross recorded a comfortable 6-3 victory over Jonny Clayton. 'Voltage' got off to a strong start, taking a 3-0 lead through two 14-darters and a 13-darter. Clayton narrowed the gap to 4-2, but then missed five chances to make it 4-3. Cross then hit the double and eventually prevailed 6-3.
Humphries' match against Krzysztof Ratajski started evenly, but 'Cool Hand Luke' took a 4-2 lead with an 11-darter in the fifth leg and an 80 finish in the sixth leg. A 13-darter then made it 5-2, before Ratajski managed to finish 129. Humphries then finished the job with a 15-darter.

The tournament will be broadcast in its entirety by ITV. Sessions begin at 6pm and 11:45am for the evening and afternoon sessions.
How much prize money is to be won?
The prize pool for this event contains a total of 300,000 pounds. However, the prize money won does not count toward the PDC Order of Merit or other money rankings.
All participants are guaranteed £5,000 in prize money. This amount could eventually rise to a sum of £70,000 in prize money for the winner.

The World Series tournaments are international events of the PDC organized to promote the sport beyond the (Western) European borders.
