On the 27th of October Rob Cross will begin his defence of the Cazoo European Championship ,the World No.8 will face James Wade on the opening night in Dortmund.
Cross will be confident he can produce in Germany especially considering this is the highest he has seeded before playing in the tournament.
The Englishman is ranked fourth ahead of the European Championship 10 places higher than last year.
Here is how this year compares to previous:
2017: No.6
2018: No.13
2019: No.9
2020: No.13
2021: No.14
2022: No.4
The World No.8 will be wanting to make it back to back wins at the European Championships and it might just happen as he goes in to the tournament being the highest seed he's been before.
