Cross looking forward to facing Bunting in Liverpool despite likely partisan crowd: “It’s going to be an amazing night”

Rob Cross reached the latter stages of the UK Open in one of his best runs in quite some time and this is bound to give confidence to the Hastings ace.
For Cross, he next takes on home hero Stephen Bunting tonight at the Premier League in Liverpool.
While he knows he potentially faces an uphill struggle against the partizan supporters; he is looking forward to the atmosphere; he also gave his opinion on where his game is at going into that tie.
"In the last two or three months I've changed everything, but I feel so much better for it and maybe my results haven't reflected that yet, but when it does click I believe I'm going to be better than ever," said Cross.
"It's getting there now My practice game is absolutely lovely, I've probably just lacked a bit of confidence on stage or on the ProTour, coming out a little bit nervous."
Cross added: "It's going to be an amazing night. Stephen's Liverpool through and through and I've got to get on with my job. I believe I'll be good this week."

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
