Bunting ‘proud’ ahead of Premier League return in Liverpool: “I’m loving the game again and I’m reaping the rewards”

Stephen Bunting will make his Premier League return tonight when he takes on Rob Cross on home soil in Liverpool.
Bunting was involved last in the Premier League in 2015 but has been brought back as a Challenger which shows his resurgence after by his own admission have a period in the darting doldrums.
"I'm really looking forward to it," said Bunting. "I'm proud to be associated with the Premier League again.
"Playing in Liverpool is a massive achievement in itself, and to be back in the Premier League shows how well my form's picked up over the last couple of years.
"This last year-and-a-half I've really stepped it up again. I'm putting the hours in, I'm loving the game again and I'm reaping the rewards and playing some of the best darts I've ever played."

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
