Cross looks ahead to defending Brisbane Darts Masters title: 'Hopefully I can go there and defend my title'

Rob Cross will try to defend his Brisbane Darts Masters title which he claimed last year and for him he is confident of doing so.
This is due to him claiming the World Matchplay title for the first time last month. Cross couldn't have asked for a better preparation, he told PDC.tv.
“It’s a massive confidence boost for me ahead of Brisbane,” said Cross.
“Hopefully I can go there and defend my title, I couldn’t have asked for a better preparation.
“I loved it in Brisbane last year and this is the first of three big events in Australia and New Zealand, so I want to keep my form going when we get back out there.
“The World Series has been fantastic. I’ve not played my best darts in Las Vegas and Germany but I’m feeling great after winning in Blackpool.”

- True, Richie. Broke my heart when Mr Senna lost his life,,, the man cared about others too. Senna had an Austrian flag in his car and was going to do a lap of honour in memory of Roland Ratzenberger, who tragically lost his life on the same weekend, sadly, Senna never got the chance. - What a undignified way to bow out of the darts for the greatest darts player ever, absolutely the best. Nobody was as dedicated or committed or even half as good as Phil. He completely dominated darts, not only the greatest darts player ever but also one of the greatest sportsman ever. Ayrton Senna is my ultimate hero but Phil won 16 World Championships, Eric only won 5 and that won't be surpassed. Thank you Phil, not my most favourite player but certainly the greatest and loved watching you completely destroy every opponent, almost never missed a treble or any check out.
