Rob Cross is currently topping the seasonal Order of Merit after his World Matchplay victory ahead of Michael van Gerwen with Nathan Aspinall rounding out the top three.
Van Gerwen despite getting criticism for poor form as of late has still shown that he has the game to win titles while of course Nathan Aspinall has won the UK Open this season gaining plaudits in the process.
Ian White is also in the top five mainly due to his form on the European Tour where he has shown himself as being on the cusp of potential big stage success. Michael Smith added to his total also by reaching the World Matchplay final where he lost out to
Rob Cross.
In terms of new Tour Card holders, Glen Durrant is the highest in 7th followed by Jamie Hughes (14th), Harry Ward (37th), Jose de Sousa (39th), Ted Evetts (44th) and Darius Labanauskas (51st).
This shows the form of them but with most being established names especially in the form of Durrant and Hughes, it hasn't come as much of a surprise but mainly how high they have reached in a short time.
Cross is the highest Premier League participant while all but Raymond van Barneveld and Mensur Suljovic are in the top 10. Van Barneveld can be put down to his lack of form and lack of playing time while Suljovic similarly can be put down to the latter.
