Cross on Van Gerwen's return to form with German Darts Championship win: "I'm happy for him, it's nice to see him back"

Rob Cross went 4-1 up against Michael van Gerwen but saw the Green Machine come back to take the title at the German Darts Championship as his wait for a first European Tour continues.
Cross was pleased to see Van Gerwen back in the winners' circle post match and hopes he can do the same and use it as a catalyst.
"Michael played great and I missed my chances," said Cross.
"He took them and that's what he used to do. I'm happy for him that he got over the line; he's winning and working hard and I've been in the same boat.
"It's nice to see him back a little bit, and hopefully I can keep improving for the future."
