Cullen-Heta and De Sousa-Joyce set for semi-finals at Players Championship 16

The semi-finals are set at Players Championship 16 with Joe Cullen set to face Damon Heta and Jose de Sousa will take on Ryan Joyce in Leicester.
De Sousa in particular stood out averaging 109 to see off Jonny Clayton 6-3. Many of the leading lights fell in this round too.
James Wade lost out to Damon Heta 6-3, while UK Open champion Andrew Gilding was defeated by Cullen. While Dirk van Duijvenbode was edged past by 'Relentless' in the other Quarter-Final.

The PDC has provided a prize pool of £3 million for the Players Championship circuit. At each Players Championship tournament, 100,000 in prize money is distributed. Reaching the second round earns £750. This eventually rises to £12,000 for the winner of the tournament.
