Damon Heta and Ryan Joyce have qualified for the final of Players Championship 16 on Tuesday night. They will compete for the day's victory in Leicester later this evening.
The semi-final between Heta and Joe Cullen was not exciting for a moment. The first four legs were all won by 'The Heat', who did see Cullen halve the deficit to 4-2. Heta then made it 5-2 with double 8, before the Australian ended the match with a 13-darter and a 14-darter.
In the tie between Joyce and Jose de Sousa, things were slightly closer. After eight legs, the score was tied 4-4. Joyce then held with an 80 finish, before breaking De Sousa with a brilliant 152 check-out. The final chord was also beautiful. Joyce hit 135 to qualify for the final.

What is the prize money at the Players Championship tournaments?
The PDC has provided a prize pool of £3 million for the Players Championship circuit. At each Players Championship tournament, 100,000 in prize money is distributed. Reaching the second round earns £750. This eventually rises to £12,000 for the winner of the tournament.
