Cullen reflects after maiden European Tour title win: ‘I knew I was going to win’

Joe Cullen claimed victory at the European Darts Matchplay this past weekend and according to the Rockstar he always knew he was going to win.

He added that for him it’s calming to have that feeling and it’s what helped him through.

He said also that it was about time he got to a Final never mind achieving what he did in winning it.

"I knew I was going to win, it was a really strange feeling," said Cullen.

"I genuinely couldn't see how I could lose today, the feeling of knowing you're going to win is so calming.

"I expected myself to be nervous in the final when I was going for the winning double but there wasn't an ounce of nerves in my body because of that feeling I had.

"One hundred percent it's about time I got to a European Tour final, let alone winning one. It's been a long time coming.
