Joe Cullen hasn't had a great time in this tournament over the years, but he is off to a great start as he beats Wayne Jones in straight sets. How far will The Rockstar go?
Joe Cullen is through to the Last 32 at the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after seeing off Wayne Jones in a straight sets win.
For Cullen, it is only a third ever win at the PDC World Darts Championship as he begins his campaign at the Alexandra Palace with 94.5 average and six 180's.
It was an opening set with ease to start for 'The Rockstar' as he breezed through without reply averaging 92 with 75% on the doubles.
The second set was less routine to finish for Cullen as Jones fought back from 2-0 down to force a deciding leg but Cullen pinned double four to double his lead.
Cullen from there claimed the third set 3-1 finishing with a 68 checkout on double 16 to win it in straight sets.
