Dimitri Van den Bergh starts this week's Nordic Darts Masters as the defending champion. In his opening match, he will take on
Madars Razma.
Last week, barely 10 days after his lost semi-final at the Worlds, Van den Bergh was already competing at the Bahrain Darts Masters. "We had thought of scheduling a holiday this month, but that backfired a bit," the 28-year-old Belgian told Het Nieuwsblad. "But my missus also says: This is your job. So that's why I went to Bahrain for the first time, where I get to represent the PDC. Always an honour."
Short holiday
Immediately after his return from Bahrain, Van den Bergh and his family still left for a short holiday to Tenerife. At the end of this week, he is already back at the Nordic Darts Masters, a World Series tournament he managed to win last year.
In his opening match in Copenhagen, he will meet Madars Razma. The latter promised to do a dance with him on stage last year.
"I have to start with apology. A year ago I promised Dimi to dance together his walk on song before our next game on stage I'm sorry mate, I guess I was lazy to practice dancing," said Razma.
