Darts at Home: Footballers Special to take place on Sunday including Maddison and Rice

In a new iteration of the PDC Darts at Home format, it will not include darts players but professional footballers who will take to the oche this Sunday to raise money for the NHS.
Of the Darts at Home lineup there are four household names in England internationals of Leicester City and West Ham United - James Maddison and Declan Rice. As well as Championship aces West Brom striker, Charlie Austin and Preston North End's Paul Gallagher.
For the latter two, they have shown their skills on the board in recent weeks; with Austin posting an image of a 180 he hit and Gallagher showing some items that were sent to him by Michael Smith.
They will now be able to prove themselves on the live stream for charity; with the action being broadcast on the PDC's YouTube channel.
Dan Dawson as usual will take those watching through proceedings; it will be played in a league format over a best of three 301 format.

- As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
