Gary Anderson will be making an appearance in the PDC Home Tour after all, it has been revealed after it was previously reported that he couldn't play in the event due to poor WiFi.
Since then though, the likes of Virgin, Sky and BT have all given offers to help sort out the issue and despite him still needing a signal booster box, he will play in the event next week.
PDC chairman
Barry Hearn revealed to
Sun Sport that he will be making this aforementioned appearance and also discussed the success of the
PDC Home Tour: “Gary Anderson is going to play in the PDC Home Tour series as his WiFi has been sorted."
“He will make a very special appearance. I don’t know what he has to do but it sounds like he has now built a technological centre of WiFi excellence!"
“The event has been on TV all over the world. It’s the only live sport out there and it’s brilliant entertainment."
“Our Darts at Home series has done really well because it’s watchable and people think ‘Thank God, it’s something live. I can have a fiver on that’.”
